Program Overview

Constructing an innovative model of industry-academia collaboration where outstanding talent and corporations from Korea and around the world are brought together by the university to perform R&D focused on industrial needs, contributing to the creation of new industries.

Providing talented individuals with the opportunity to build up their research capabilities by experiencing real world industrial R&D first hand, leading the search for solutions to problems.

Program Information

Provide opportunities to outstanding global talents to conduct and experience R&D on-site at partner businesses and proactively solve problems and amass research capacity.

  • Technology Development/Supply: Host outstanding global talents at KAIST and utilize KAIST’s infrastructure to conduct R&D projects that are customized to the demands of a business and supply such technology.
  • Fostering and Utilizing Human Resources: Provide a bridgehead for global talents to cultivate industrial R&D capabilities and enter and settle into companies

Enhance the level of R&D and strengthen the competitiveness of partner companies by hosting global talents and utilizing them for collaborative research development

  • Attract: Host outstanding global talents through KAIST’s research infrastructure, thereby enhancing the quality of research through joint research development

  • Conduct efficient commercialization research and development by directly linking world-class, original research conducted at KAIST by meeting the technology development demand of partner companies
  • With KAIST G-Core leading the way and coupled with KAIST’s state-of-the-art research infrastructure, discover companies in demand by sector and host outstanding global talents to progress research development and commercialization
